Lamb Finisher Pellet
Tailored for the protein, energy and mineral needs of growing and finishing lambs weighing between 15 to 60 kilograms. These grain-based pellets excel in intensive feeding setups or where an addition boost is needed to finish lambs for sale.
Feeding Recommendations:
- To mitigate the risk of acidosis (grain poisoning), it is crucial to introduce the pellets gradually. Additionally, ensure constant access to a fiber source for maintaining proper rumen function.
- Introduce small amounts (0.25% of bodyweight per day to start), and gradually increase the daily amount over 2 weeks to 2% of bodyweight per day.
- The pellets are designed to be used along with a source of roughage such as cereal hay or straw, and always maintain access to a source of clean fresh water.
